  13. Hi Elizabeth, Thanks for the visit to Winter Wonderland at my blog, and for the kind words. Popped over to visit you, will be joining as your newest follower. I love your Santa image, all the texture you have created on his hat, and the great shadowing around the head. It showed up so well in your photo. All the bright & festive paper was just right for this cute image, and as soon as our hop is over, I'll have to take a wander through Squiggle Fly. I'm just getting into digi-s. Sometimes the printer ink will smear when I use copics, even if I've dried it well. Got any tips? TFS & hugs. Hope you'll visit again if you have time.

  18. Elizabeth, thank you for the sweet comment on the folk art border tree. I had seen it done with paper strips, but I couldn't remember where I had seen it to give credit. That why I phrased it as 'recently seen' because it surely wasn't my original idea. I'm pretty much a copier of what I see, trying to adapt to my own look. I'm not great with original designs at all! There is so much talent & creativity on these blogs, that I'm so awestruck & wonder "how on earth do they come up with these looks". Again, thanks for the visit & taking time to leave blog love! And good luck in the random draw too! Hugs
